Our Suppliers
WL & BJ Yeoman

Warren and Bronwyn Yeomans supply most of our Apple needs throughout the year growing a diverse range. Warren delivers to us weekly from his farm at Arding near Uralla. They also grow most stonefruits in the summer months- peaches, nectarines, plums, apricots and cherries. He has several varieties of pears for us and currently holds the world record for the largest pear ever grown- a 2.1kg monster.

Tony Connelly - Sungift Citrus

Tony's citrus packing shed is busy all year round with produce from citrus growers in the region. Tony supplies us with our juicing and boxed oranges both Valencia and Navel depending on the season. And no, he is not sponsored by Hahn, he just happened to have this cap on when the photo was taken.

Herbaceous

Stuart and Debbie from Herbaceous grow a wide range of Culinary Herbs and Snowpea Sprouts at Moonbi. They deliver to us several times each week having cut the herbs fresh that morning.

Bellatta Gold Pasta
Doug Cush is a farmer from the golden 'durum' triangle.  Doug's Bellata Gold began when a container of grain spilt on a wharf in Sydney on its way to Italy.  Curious to see why his grain was so popular with the Italian pasta makers, Doug had it milled and made into pasta and entered Fine Food Exhibition in Sydney.  The pasta won numerous prizes.  With the new spurt of confidence, Doug decided to investigate and took a trip to Italy where he discovered that the region where he was from is well known due to the quality of the durum wheat.  Bellata Gold is 100% high quality durum wheat from the paddock to pasta with real pasta 'al dente' characteristics. It is milled and produced in Tamworth by the Cush family - you can't get better than that! Visit their website at www.bellatagold.com.au

Wolli Honey

David Wark has been keeping bees for sixteen years as a hobby throughout school and university days. Now raising a young family with Kathy, honey has been a favourite with the children. The production of honey had to increase to keep up with their growing family of honey eaters. Currently all hives are kept on the property where they live. The bees source nectar from the agricultural crops and pastures and native flowering trees on the Melville Range, South West of Tamworth. They love their honey on toast or a spoonful in a cup of tea!

Koolkuna Berries

Lothar and Barbara Kalz grow a diverse range of berries on their farm at Niangala. They supply us with strawberries from January through to April, Blueberries from December to February an Raspberries/ Blackberries from January through to March.

Antilles Coffee
Rob Manvell decided to start roasting his own coffee for his Cafe a little over two years ago. This was a result of not being able to source flavoursome fresh coffee. All the coffees he sampled were either stale, very bitter or burnt and in most cases a combination of all three. After the huge success of the coffee introduction in his own store he branded the coffee as Antilles Coffee and have made it available to other coffee outlets that care about what they serve to their customers. Antilles Coffee is freshly roasted in the clean environment that is the New England area of New South Wales, No Pollution. The Mountain Grown Coffee beans are of the highest quality. These Beans are sourced from the finest coffee growing regions of the world. Ethiopia, Kenya, Brazil, India, Costa Rica, and Papua New Guinea to name a few.
Newcastle Regional Market

We source all other items which we are unable to obtain direct from growers from either Newcastle or Brisbane Markets. We are the only Fruit & Vegetable Business in the New England Northwest which runs its own Refrigerated Trucks to/from the markets. It gives us total flexibility and control over an important part of our business and allows us to deliver our own produce into the markets as well. We usually bring fresh supplies direct out of the markets 3 times per week. Pictured here is "Magoo"-one of the agents who sells our lettuce, and is also one of our most diverse suppliers.
